This is a tasty and quick dish to make when you don’t know what else to have for dinner. At our house, we eat hamburger only once a week, so I’m always excited when this recipe comes up on my rotation of hamburger dishes to prepare.
Organic Beef Stroganoff
1 pound grass fed hamburger (find at your local farmer’s market)
12-16 oz organic spaghetti noodles (only $1.29 at Trader Joes!) or Organic Brown Rice Pasta
1/4 to 1/3 cup organic sour cream (or at least find rbST free)
1-2 tbsp Simply Organic French Onion Dip (add to your taste)
1/3 cup chopped onion
salt and pepper
parsley to garnish
Fill a pot with water and prepare noodles per packaged directions. Brown hamburger in a stainless steel skillet, chop onion and add to hamburger mix. Once hamburger is browned, add the cream of mushroom soup, sour cream, french dip mix and salt and pepper to taste. Serve over top of noodles and garnish with parsley. Green beans are an excellent side to this dish and could even be used as a substitute for the noodles and just serve the hamburger mix on top of the noodles. Mmm! Hope you enjoy.
